Air Fryer Tips and Secrets
Some of the most popular questions that we see are really about troubleshooting. To help you learn more about air frying, we put together a couple of suggestions to follow when you’re cooking food:
Do not over fill your basket. Foods can’t cook properly if they are stacked or overlapping.
For a crispy coating, coat foods with a light coating of olive oil, egg wash, honey, BBQ, Teriyaki, or other sauce.
Shake or rotate and flip vegetables or meats. If one side is closer to the fan source it may help even cooking with a quick flip halfway through the process.
When trying a traditional oven recipe in the air fryer, you must lower the temperature and cooking time.
Be sure to clean the basket after each use. This will help food cook more evenly, and will preserve the life of your air fryer.
