WHY YOU WILL LOVE THIS AIR FRIED TRUFFLE FRIES RECIPE

You will love this trendy dish because they are the perfect complement to add to any game day event or to have family and friends for game night. They make an amazing side dish to eat with a favorite beef dish or grilled chicken. Truffle fries have a gourmet taste and are a great side dish for an upscale sausage or burger night. These fries are gourmet bar food at its best, everyone who tries them will absolutely devour them.

Ingredients:

Russet potatoes chopped fresh parsley white truffle oil truffle sea salt (or Kosher salt) parmesan cheese

Optional Additional Flavors: Garlic pieces, paprika, truffle cheese, ground black pepper, pinch of red pepper flakes or ground rosemary.

How To Make Truffle Fries in the Air Fryer:

Optional Favorite Dipping Sauce: Ketchup, ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing, honey mustard sauce or creamed horseradish. Optional Favorite Toppings: Chopped chives, melty cheese sauce, fresh thyme or avocado slices.  Cooking Tips: If you make fries in batches place them on a wire rack so they remain crispy. Substitutions: Use black truffle oil, olive oil or avocado oil if you do not have white truffle oil. I make this dish in my Cosori 5.8 qt. air fryer. Depending on your air fryer, size and wattages, cooking time may need to be adjusted 1-2 minutes.

What can I serve with this dish?

Almost anything will be delicious to serve with this dish. Lemon pepper chicken thighs or a high-end gourmet burger will pair really well with these fries. A couple of others are grilled mahi mahi or a super juicy filet mignon topped with blue cheese.

Can I use a different kind of potato to make this dish?

Yes, there other types of potatoes to make this dish. You can use red potatoes, white potatoes or Yukon gold potatoes but they may not come out as crispy because they have a lower starch content. Baking potatoes (russet potatoes) have excess starch so they will make these parmesan truffle fries extra crispy.

How to store leftovers?

Allow leftover truffle fries to fully cool prior to storing them. Place them in an airtight container or resealable storage bag in your refrigerator for up to 5 days. If you are planning on freezing them place them in a freezer safe container of freezer storage bag for up to 6 months.

What are truffles?

Truffles are found underground in heavily wooded areas usually near the roots or base of trees. They have a robust flavor, smell and are a type of mushroom from the fungi family. They are considered a culinary delicacy and are very pricey because they require a lot of effort to find and uproot them.  MORE AIR FRYER RECIPES:
